Our story
Our mission is to regenerate the land, reconnect people with nature, and build a sustainable food system for Tunisia and beyond.
Matmoura started with a simple question:Â
Â
How can we be part of the solution?

After years in international logistics and environmental journalism, we knew the problems our world faces. But as we prepared to welcome our first child, we wanted to do something about them.

We kept coming back to the land. Healthy soil grows healthier food, holds more water, supports more life and stores more carbon.

For us, Tunisia was the natural place to begin.

One farm won’t solve it all. But it’s a place to start, learn and show what’s possible.
Akrem has over 15 years experience in international logistics and business development, including as an entrepreneur.
